Install Need for Speed: SHIFT
Use this crack:

Right click Shift.exe (in game install DIR) and change compatibility to "Windows 98/ME"

Play the game! (ANY graphics settings!)

**Still problems?**
If game still crashing after launching extract this config to "documents and settings/user(your account)/my documents/SHIFT"and overwrite:
